TIME FOR ME Workshop
Are you someone that struggles to make time for you? To look after your own health and wellbeing?
Come and join Heather (mindfulness teacher) and Elaine (yoga teacher/poet) for an afternoon of Mindfulness, Chair Yoga and Journalling.
Balancing your mind, body and spirit, you will learn how to look after your mental and physical wellbeing.
It is a chance to relax, recharge your batteries and connect with yourself and others.
We will start with an introduction to Mindfulness, you will practice some mindfulness and be shown how you can benefit from Mindfulness Meditation.
We will then practice gentle chair yoga which is great for increased flexibilty, improved strength and pain management. You can do chair yoga if you are struggling with limited mobility, balance issues, or stubborn stiffness. Without ever leaving your seat, you can take advantage of the many benefits of chair yoga.
We will then do some guided journalling which can help to reduce stress and anxiety, help you to gain confidence and inspire you. Journalling provides a concrete method for learning who we are and identifying what we need.
We will finish with some deep relaxation.
There will also be inspiring poetry throughout the afternoon and some time for tea and cake at the end.

What to bring - Wear something comfortable that you can move in. If you have a mat please bring it or you can book one with us. We have a limited supply so please let us know if you require a mat. Please also bring a blanket and a cushion. All other materials will be provided.
