When December seeks to overwhelm

When it adds to your list

When it reminds you of times past

And loved ones to be missed

When December’s plans for happiness cannot be guaranteed

It’s ok to step back, take stock & work out what you need,

It’s ok to slow down & focus on yourself,

To sit as in a snow globe and let the mayhem pass you by,

Imagine it as snowflakes drifting until they’re gone,

You remain calmly seated, you remain serene,

In the comfort of your snow globe, with the power to change your scene
